Evergreen Chinese Restaurant in Florence

I choked down some very greasy meat from various dishes. Left feeling sick and upset I had spent money on the food. It is in need of repairs and paint is chipping off in places they have just painted over old paint so many times it looks awful. But the food was so disappointing and I got sick after eating. I would not recommend this place except to health inspectors. What kind of meat was that?

Would of left no stars. All the food looked old and iver cooked. We walked in and right back out, No thank you! 🤢

This is one of my favorite places to eat, but today the food just wasn't fresh. Maybe we should have gone a little later

The food was very good for a buffet. I visit a lot of buffets, this is one of the best. Large food selection, food was hot on the bar and the staff was attentive and friendly. The building is old and looks a little dirty, but it is clean. Will be back next time I'm up that way

The food was amazing. The staff was very friendly and attentive. One man stood out. He was the host for the day, a younger guy. My son was wanting candy out of the candy machine and without hesitation, that man took my son's hand, gave him quaters out of his own money and walked with him to get candy. It may not seem like much, but he didn't have to acknowledge my son and he definitely didn't have to go out of his way to make my son smile but he did. Very good experience and will definitely be back!

Friendly but slow on getting the food out

Good place, good service, I always eat the buffet, your drink will never be empty, they top it off with a quickness

Food is good. 43 dollars for four people. If you pick and choose you can have a good meal. The Habatchi grill is good.

Could use a deep cleaning, and remodel. But food is good, large variety.

All buffet bars was opened. Yay, plus they gave you gloves for to use to get your food plus you wear a mask, the food was amazing, I will definitely be back their. Every one was respectful for social distance. It was very pleasant to eat at. When your at the table you can take your mask and gloves off. Make sure you put them back on when you get food. I will definitely be back their.

Huge buffet selection, very fresh. The staff was courteous and we loved the Oriental atmosphere!

The chocolate pudding is divine and the best I’ve ever tasted. As a professional chocolate pudding connoisseur I haven’t had any better. Highly recommended.

Great food on a very Cold day.

While it was a little old and dingy, it has a very iconic Chinese buffet atmosphere, with good food for the price tag. If you're looking for an easy Chinese place for the whole family Evergreen is for you.

Best Hot and Sour Soup in the Quad Cities. The best buffet in town too.

Don't even deserve the one star. Went with a friend both if us seniors. Ordered buffet for one. Got a bill for $22. When I asked why my bill was so high since I had senior buffet and my friend had a cup of soup and a drink; I was told I was a bad customer and the young man at the register repeated again you are a bad customer and I don't want you to come back here. My response was I won't ever be back here.

I believe this was the best Chinese buffet I've had in a long time! Everything was delicious

One of my absolute favorite places to eat in Florence. Their buffet has a wide variety of foods and they offer American and Chinese options. Staff is always kind and amazing and I've never had a bad experience here.

Run of the mill mediocre chinese buffet. Nothing spectacular, nothing particularly horrible.

Very friendly staff and good selection of food at a reasonable price. Husbands soda was a tad flat but that’s okay. I will definitely be coming back

This place is a bit run down looking from the outside. But do not judge a book by it's cover because once you walk in you are greeted by the very polite staff. And then you are seated. On the inside this place is very authentic looking. And the food was great! Almost everything on the buffet is fresh. Also they did not seem to have a problem with me open carrying my pistol.Great Job Evergreen!

Great people even greater food

Awful, lol. Just awful. Waiters were interacting with me as if they were scared the whole time. Really made me feel out of my comfort zone-, especially adding since that I was with my friend.Really good ice cream though =). Really wish you guys had working air conditioning though.

I usually get the Hibachi grille. It's wonderful and delicious and I also like to fix it the way I want it!
